2012 Bible Studies

St Paul offers various bible studies on Sunday mornings between our church services.  They take place from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM in various rooms of the building.  The currently offered studies are listed below:

Explaining all the Scary Stuff in Revelation

This is a video-based series that looks at God’s wonderful message found in the last book of the Bible. The main speaker of this study is Dr. Ken Klaus, the speaker of the Lutheran Hour. The class will be held after the 8:30 service on Sunday mornings beginning January 8th. This study guide is scheduled to be a six-session class; however, those who have taken a class that I have led before know that I have trouble ending a class on time.

Background of the Bible

Led by Pastor Bruner.  Whether you have read the entire Bible or not, this study will give background information and helpful details to understand each book of the Bible.  We will use the resources found in the “Lutheran Study Bible.”  It is not necessary to own a Lutheran Study Bible, but bring it to class if you do.

Adult Instruction Class

Led by Pastor Abatelli.  Do you have questions about the Bible, the world, suffering, right and wrong, forgiveness, the purpose for your life?  Come, get answers and discover what a relationship with Christ is about.  In this class, we will look at the myths about Christ and His teachings, and then explore the truth about them.
